Jemme Cafe - Restaurant
Jemme is that charmer on Raya Petitenget. Beside and behind the jewelry showroom (of the same name) it is a clean, cool relaxing spot for lunch or dinner. The small menu enables all dishes to be prepared and presented properly. Examples are their 5 Spice Calamari, flash fried and amazingly tender, with a lime mayonnaise. Unique is their Baked Portobello Mushroom, this large mushroom is topped with a trio of assorted fungi and sauteed leek with Parmesan.
At Jemme only organically raised vegetables are used and mainly from their own garden in Bedugul and Negara. On the menu is even a re-working of that dinosaur, the Prawn Cocktail. At Jemme all parts are served separately and they use juicy king prawns as well. Mains include the oven Roasted Corn-fed Chicken and the popular Duck Maryland, it is served with a crisp skin and soft tender flesh, almost Asian style.
Jemme is currently doing Lunch Specials during the pre high season period, you get a Trio of Bowls for just Rp.50,000++. For the remainder of April the selection is Soup (Cream of Cauliflower or Mushroom, or Soto Ayam), Salad (Steamed Chicken, Shaved Fennel and Beetroot, Sliced Beef of Rocket with Shaved Parmesan) and Main (Spaghetti Bolognese, Mie Goreng with Chicken or a sensational Trio of Mushroom Risotto).
